Dumbbell Alternate Hammer Preacher Curl form demonstration - targeted for Biceps Upper Arms workouts

Dumbbell Alternate Hammer Preacher Curl

Combining a hammer grip with a preacher bench isolates the biceps and brachialis while removing any chance of using body momentum, since the upper arm is locked against the pad. The neutral hammer grip shifts more work onto the brachialis and forearm than a standard curl does, building thickness on the outside of the upper arm. Alternating sides keeps tension on one arm at a time rather than resting both simultaneously.
