Kettlebell Seesaw Press
- Category
- Shoulders
- Equipment
- Kettlebell
- Target
- Delts
The seesaw press alternates pressing one kettlebell up while the other lowers, which keeps tension on both shoulders continuously instead of resting between reps like a standard alternating press. That constant load makes it a solid shoulder-endurance builder, and the opposing motion also forces the core to resist rotation the whole set.
How to Do the Kettlebell Seesaw Press
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a kettlebell in each hand at shoulder height.
- Press one kettlebell overhead while keeping the other kettlebell at shoulder height.
- Lower the pressed kettlebell back to shoulder height while simultaneously pressing the other kettlebell overhead.
- Continue alternating the pressing motion, creating a seesaw-like movement.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Muscles Worked
The Kettlebell Seesaw Press primarily targets the Delts, with Triceps as the primary synergist muscle group, along with the Core.
