Dynamic Chest Stretch (male)
- Category
- Chest
- Equipment
- Body Weight
- Target
- Pectorals
Swinging the arms through a controlled range rather than holding a static stretch keeps the chest and front shoulder loose without cooling the muscle down the way a long static hold can before lifting. It's built for before a workout, not after — dynamic stretching primes the joint for the ranges it's about to work through.
How to Do the Dynamic Chest Stretch (male)
- Stand tall with your feet shoulder-width apart.
- Extend your arms straight out to the sides, parallel to the ground.
- Slowly bring your arms forward, crossing them in front of your body.
- Feel the stretch in your chest muscles.
- Hold the stretch for 10-30 seconds.
- Return to the starting position and repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
