Same explosive squat-to-jump pattern as a standard jump squat, likely with a different arm swing or stance to change the loading pattern. The training effect stays the same — building power in the legs by producing force fast rather than slow, and landing mechanics matter as much as the jump itself.

How to Do the Jump Squat V. 2

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Lower your body into a squat position by bending your knees and pushing your hips back.
  3. Jump explosively, extending your hips and knees fully.
  4. Land softly on the balls of your feet and immediately lower your body back into a squat position.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Muscles Worked

The Jump Squat V. 2 primarily targets the Glutes, with Quadriceps as the primary synergist muscle group, along with the Hamstrings, Calves.
